Emma Kikue (pronounced KEY-koo-eh,) is a classically trained New York City based actress who was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She holds a BFA in acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
As a biracial queer actress, (half Japanese-American, half white) Emma strongly believes in visibility and representation for both artists of color and mixed race as well as LGBTQIA artists. She is also a proud member of Actor's Equity and SAG-AFTRA.
Emma has worked extensively in new plays, helping develop new works as an actor with Atlantic Theatre, Ars Nova, New York Theatre Workshop, Primary Stages, Clubbed Thumb, New Dramatists, WP Theatre, Playwrights Realm, The O’Neil, New Georges, New York Stage and Film, Rattlestick Theatre, The Civillians, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Ma-Yi, The Playwrights Center, The Hearth, The Sundance Lab, The COOP, and more.
